Lifeway’s 2026 VBS theme, Illumination Station: Shining a Light on Who Jesus Really Is, explores John 8:12, teaching kids that Jesus is the light of the world. Through a "light exploration" theme, it helps children discover Jesus as the promised, perfect, powerful, and proven Son of God through daily Bible studies, games, crafts, and music.

Bible Story Focus: Each day centers on a specific truth about Jesus, covering His identity as the Messiah (Matthew 16:13-20), His baptism, miracles, and resurrection. Daily Points (Day 1-5): Jesus is God’s promised Son, perfect Son, powerful Son, proven Son, and God’s plan for forgiveness.

Atmosphere encourages bright, high-energy, and colorful decorations.
