As our beliefs state, "It is the duty and privilege of every follower of Christ and every church of the Lord Jesus Christ to endeavor to make disciples of all nations... to seek constantly to win the lost to Christ by verbal witness undergirded by a Christian lifestyle, and by other methods in harmony with the gospel of Christ".

At Duval Station Baptist we feel we have a responsibility and Biblical duty to help the lost discover God's grace and love for those living on the other side of the world and just importantly, our neighbor living across the street from our church.

Gary and Dena Pate

Pate Ministries - Ecuador

We started doing short-term missions in 1989 and have been on the field as full-time Missionaries since 2012. I am not a pastor nor are we Seminary trained, but God has given us other tools and skills to spread the gospel and show love of Christ through children’s programs, teaching ESL (English as a second language), bible clubs and hosting community programs such as showing Gospel movies in Spanish, holding medical clinics and providing preventative health care teaching in local communities and working with local IMB missionaries in discipleship.  Our vision is simply to obey God by sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ and making disciples.

In Romania, care for missionaries is just developing. It is our desire to see Romanian missionaries well cared for as they prepare for and while on their mission fields. We also educate and encourage churches and families to invest in caring for their sent ones.

Barnabas Serving All exists to provide care, teaching, counseling and support to international and Romanian individuals, couples, families of missionaries, church workers, professionals in social work and christian counselors who live in Romania or are working abroad.

Set Free By The Sea

- NE Jacksonville/Yulee

Set Free Church is more than a church building or a congregation that meets together once or twice a week. It is a 24/7 evangelistic and disciplining opportunity. Set Free Church is not a shelter but we seek to rescue people from their situations and train them to serve Jesus. It seeks to fulfill the five functions of a church, (evangelism, worship, discipleship, ministry and community), as it presents the gospel and disciples new believers in a contextual way.  Set Free leaders mentor and model Christian behavior to help participants develop that essential “one-on-one” personal relationship with Christ that they need to live a victorious life.
